Dr. Tosca Ferber-Koevoets

Tosca received her Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Groningen, after which she started her PhD studies in the area of Evolutionary Genetics at the same university. The scope of her project was the genetic mechanism behind hybrid incompatibilities in diverging species complexes. 

Dr. Pere Arús

Dr. Pere Arús

Dr. Pere Arús is agricultural engineer (Universitat de València, 1974) and PhD in Genetics (University of California, Davis, 1984). His areas of expertise include population genetics, crop evolution and plant breeding, and he has specialized in the use of molecular markers and other genomics tools 

Dr. Philipp Aerni

Dr. Philipp Aerni

Philipp Aerni is Director of the Center for Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CCRS). He is an interdisciplinary social scientist with a particular interest in the role of science, technology, and innovation for sustainable development. In this context, he examines public-private partnerships and their potential as driving forces of sustainable change, provided that the institutional environment is conducive to change through innovation. Prior to his position at CCRS, Dr. Aerni worked at Harvard University, ETH Zurich, the University of Berne, as well as the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO). As CCRS Director, he closely collaborates with the CCRS advisory board as well as the CCRS team in the design and implementation of the Center’s research, teaching, and outreach activities.
