Pedro Tent Alonso

As a Principal Associate at the Litigation and Arbitration Department of J&A Garrigues, S.L.P., Mr. Tent is in charge of the firm’s IP Law Departments at its Valencia, Murcia and Alicante offices. He is the firm’s leading counsel in all PVR litigation cases (approx. 50) and is currently involved in two preliminary proceedings triggered by the Spanish Supreme Court before the Court of Justice of the European Union concerning the interpretation of fundamental provisions of the EU Regulation 2100/1994.
Mr. Tent is also active in academic field in his positions of the Associate Lecturer of Private International Law at the University of Valencia and as a Guest Lecturer of IP Law at the Magister Lvcentinvs, University of Alicante. He is a member of the Alzira Bar Association (Valencia) and has been appointed arbitrator by the Arbitral Tribunal of the Valencia Bar Association.
Mr. Tent has acquired his law degree from the University of Valencia, where he is currently enrolled in PhD program. He also holds a LLM degree (Corporate and Commercial Law) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
